Product Introduction
Anti-Embolism Stockings are specifically designed for Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) prophylaxis in immobile, post-surgical, and bed-confined patients. Engineered with graduated compression — applying maximum pressure at the ankle (18 mmHg) and gradually decreasing up the leg — they promote venous return, reduce venous stasis, and help prevent the formation of thromboemboli. Woven on precision circular-knit machines with skin-friendly, latex-free yarns, our stockings provide consistent, therapeutic compression for hospital, aged care, and home settings.

Applications
Product Advantages
Graduated compression for DVT prophylaxis.
Breathable, latex-free, skin-friendly materials.
Defined heel pocket ensures correct placement.
Open toe option allows circulation monitoring.
Use Method
Measure both legs after the patient has been supine for at least 30 minutes. For knee-length: measure calf circumference and leg length. For thigh-length: also measure widest part of thigh. Use the manufacturer’s sizing chart.
Verify ABPI (Doppler) results to exclude arterial insufficiency before application. Check peripheral pulses. Ensure skin is clean, dry, and free from ointments or oils.
Sit with leg elevated. Turn stocking inside out to heel pocket. Position foot and ensure heel is centered. Gently pull remaining portion up the leg. Smooth out wrinkles.
Verify heel centered in pocket; toes freely mobile with no cramping; knit change at knee sits just below popliteal fossa (for knee-length). Do not roll down the top band.
Reassess lower extremity circulation within 1-2 hours of initial application. Check toes for discoloration, numbness, or burning sensation — if present, remove immediately.
Remove stockings for 30-60 minutes twice daily for skin assessment and hygiene. Inspect toes, heels, malleolus, and anterior ankle.
Wash every 2-3 days in water no hotter than 30°C with non-bleaching detergent. Air dry away from direct heat. Do not iron, dry clean, or use fabric softeners.
