Product Introduction
Hydrocolloid Dressing is a thin, flexible, and highly conformable wound dressing designed for low-to-moderate exuding wounds. The dressing consists of a hydrocolloid matrix (containing gelatin, pectin, and carboxymethylcellulose) bonded to a waterproof, breathable polyurethane film backing. Upon contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid particles absorb moisture and form a soft, cohesive gel layer that covers the wound bed, maintaining a moist healing environment and providing a protective barrier against external contamination.
Hydrocolloid Dressing is indicated for the management of superficial wounds, minor burns, surgical incisions, and low-to-moderate exuding chronic wounds. Upon absorbing exudate, the hydrocolloid matrix converts into a soft, cohesive gel that protects the wound bed and supports autolytic debridement. The dressing creates and maintains an optimal moist environment that promotes granulation tissue formation and epithelialization. The PU film backing is waterproof and breathable, allowing patients to shower without dressing removal. The gel layer minimizes adherence to the wound bed, reducing trauma and pain during dressing changes. The low-profile design conforms easily to body contours, making it comfortable for daily wear and suitable for high-movement areas like elbows, knees, and heels. Manufactured in ISO 13485-certified facilities with CE MDR and FDA clearances.

Use Method
Gently clean the wound and peri-wound area with normal saline. Pat the surrounding skin dry completely.
Choose a dressing that extends at least 2-3 cm beyond the wound margins.
Remove the release liner and apply the dressing directly over the wound, pressing down firmly on the edges to ensure good contact.
Gently warm the dressing with the palm of your hand for a few seconds to enhance adhesion.
Replace when gel is visible through the dressing surface or when leakage occurs (typically every 3-5 days). May be worn up to 7 days for dry wounds.
Lift one corner and gently stretch the dressing sideways and parallel to the skin surface to release the adhesive.
